This class is for anyone open and curious to learn the basics, from wedging, to throwing, trimming, and even glazing.

  • A focused short-series of classes to refine more advanced forms.

This class emphasizes foundational wheel-throwing techniques, proportion, and finishing details that build off of the basics learned in a level 1 class.

To qualify you must have completed a level 1 class at WSA and sign up for the pop-up class email list.

All materials and firings are included. Finished pieces will be kiln-fired, and ready for pickup following 3-4 weeks after completion of the course.

The practice of throwing is a journey to understanding the capabilities of clay through play and experimentation where each piece becomes a reflection of your hands and your process. Working with clay always invites patience, focus, and intention.
